Your help is needed now!!” varifr\u00e5n jag fick ett mail i dag om att en Dr. Kate Meurs p\u00e5 Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine, hittat genen som ger DCM. Och nu skickade Emelie just l\u00e4nken till forumet p\u00e5 Doberman Review och en tr\u00e5d d\u00e4r det p\u00e5st\u00e5s samma sak.<\/p>\n

Nu tar jag detta med en stor nypa salt men kan \u00e4nd\u00e5 inte l\u00e5ta bli att dr\u00f6mma mig bort lite och vad det skulle f\u00e5 f\u00f6r f\u00f6ljder om det vore sant. Ett blodprov som svarar p\u00e5 om hunden har DCM-genen eller inte! <\/p>\n

Att unga, obepr\u00f6vade och omeriterade avelsdjur tar ett blodprov och visar sig vara fria och d\u00e4rmed g\u00e5r r\u00e4tt ut i avel \u00e4nnu tidigare med urs\u00e4kten att de minsann \u00e4r DCM-fria. Att uppf\u00f6dare v\u00e4ntar \u00e4nnu kortare tid p\u00e5 att avla p\u00e5 sina hundar nu. <\/p>\n

Sen tror jag att det sitter en stor m\u00e4ngd r\u00e4tt s\u00e5 skitn\u00f6diga uppf\u00f6dare d\u00e4rute nu som innerst inne vet att deras hane mycket v\u00e4l kan vara genb\u00e4rare men l\u00e5tit hunden g\u00e5 i massavel \u00e4nd\u00e5. Som vet hur tikens f\u00f6r\u00e4ldrar dog knall fall men \u00e4nd\u00e5 l\u00e5ter sin tik bli avelstik.
